Who said it wouldn’t last FIVE years?

We’re all busy these days. How do we get everything done? I’m retired, and I STILL don’t have enough time to finish my “chores” before bedtime.
So I’m not going to post a lot of nonsense and expect you to read it. Nor will I post something irrelevant every day. My blogs will be short, unless someone asks me a specific question which requires a longer post. Or if I feel a subject demands more space. I am a writer, so most everything on here will be about books and writing and life. If you wish to comment on anything I post, I would be glad to respond.

Take care,

John Beckman

I wrote the above post on 28 June, 2012. I can’t believe it’s been FIVE years that I’ve been doing this stuff. When I started it I was hoping it would become a blog for authors and writers where pros could swap ideas and hints and tips. It didn’t work ou that way and eventually it just became a place where I can vent my anger at politicians and comment on stupid things that I see every day. A lot has happened over the past five years. I’ve lost a number of friends who have gone on to heaven or hell. And, I’ve picked up a few new ones. Whate will become of us all five years from now? If I’m still around I’ll re-post this blog. I hope y9u will be around to read it.

Take care,

John Beckman

I enjoy reading your comments. If you have the time to read. Mel Brooks 2030 fiction but I found it to be very interesting about the changes in our times.

John. .I remember you very well as my favorite TV weatherman for years and have often wondered what happened with you after retirement and now I know! Just recently discovered your blog and absolutely love it! So refreshing to see that there is at least one other person in this world as conservative as I am even being a bit younger at 70. I recently purchased your “Four Christmas Stories” via Kindle and look forward to reading.
