Now, let me see if I have this correctly. Sometimes an old fart like me gets all addled and thinks that there may be the slightest chance (I’m not sure, mind you) but there is this nagging thought I occasionally have that the so-called mainstream media are a tad biased in their reporting.
So just to be clear here are some coincidences that I’m sure couldn’t have any bearing on my wrong-thinking.
ABC News Executive Producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, Obama’s National Security Advisor. (Oh, yeah. I remember. She went on five Sunday news shows and proved it was a video that was responsible for the Benghazi attack that killed Ambassador Stevens and three other brave Americans)
ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Obama White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. (Yeah, he’s the guy who has a picture of Chairman Mao in his kitchen. Good influence on the kids, you know.)
ABC News Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama’s Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood. (Wonder what she advises him on, specially?)
ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama’s Deputy Press Secretary. (What? He has only ONE? And Hillary has twenty-two? Discrimination!)
CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications. (Lots of strategic communications coming out of the Whitehouse these days.)
CNN President Virginia Moseley is married to former Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Secretary Tom Nides. (Virginia loves Tom, na, na, nana na nah!)
Well, I’m sure that these spouses don’t talk to each other so there couldn’t possibly be any bias in the only source of “news” the majority of the dumbasses (that’s dumb masses) get their info from. Nah, it’s all that damned right wing conspiracy that’s always telling lies about that honest, down home, true as the day is long, Hillary. To tell the truth, I’m sorry that I brought it up because it is obvious that the news media have no agenda.
