Are you like me, and sometimes become infuriated that politicians take us for such dunces? Everybody has known for 8 years that Hillary Clinton was going to run for President again. So what do they do? To make it seem like she has some “competition” they bring in old Bernie Sanders (who never had a job until he was 40 years old) as a place holder. And Bernie appeals to young people who want everything FREE. It has long been my contention that every Liberal Arts graduate is a political liberal – until they get a job and that first pay check shows them how much of their money the government is siphoning off. It doesn’t take long for them to figure out that THEY are paying for somebody else’s FREE stuff.
So why is the press and TV bothering to show us how Hillary and Bernie are doing? Sure, ol’ Bern has won a number of primaries but everyone knows that the so-called “Super Delegates” are committed to Hillary already, which gives her enough delegates for the nomination. Why the farce that there is some contest here? In fact, why do the Democrats even bother to have a convention when it is ordained that Hillary will be the nominee?
Oh, well, wait…the FBI is going to present her abuse of super secret State Department documents to the Department of Justice and they will indict her. Really? Is there ANYONE in the world who really believes that the head of the DOJ, appointed by Obama, is going to take any action against Hillary? If so, dream on. That ain’t ever going to happen. If a Republican is elected President, there might be some repercussions because the woman is guilty of treason. But with the Republicans fighting to keep either Trump or Cruz from becoming their nominee, there’s a good chance that they will bring in a ringer, and Republican voters will stay home again like they did when “Mitt” was the nominee. That will surely make Hillary President, and I doubt if she will indict herself. And if Hillary does become President you can kiss what little is left of America …goodbye.
One thing is sure – in my lifetime there has never been such an “interesting” fight for the Presidency. This time it is not the same old same old. And that, at least, is refreshing.
