I read a quote from Donald Trump that said: “I never apologize, and I haven’t cried since I was a baby.” On the face of it, that just sounds arrogant. However, I don’t believe it. Any person who has lived as long as he has, has suffered the loss of a loved one and cried. And, if he hasn’t had to apologize at least once to his wives, he has married the wrong persons. Or, they did.
I think he says these things, obviously to get attention, but to show that he is not in the least concerned about political correctness. And that, above all, accounts for his popularity with “fly-over” America. It is insane to allow the flow of South America’s scum over our southern border. And Trump is the only one unafraid to bring that to the forefront. We’re not getting doctors, lawyers, atomic scientists, and physicists across the Rio Grande and into Texas. Although most people don’t know it, we have been allowing Middle Eastern “refugees” into our country for years (bypassing those in line for legal citizenship) and now we’re importing 200,000 Syrians. It doesn’t take much to notice the increased number of Burkas in our neighborhoods. What are you going to do when these numbers demand Sharia law in their ghettos? In England and other parts of Europe Muslims are allowed to block streets and subways so they can pray. How long would it take for police to jerk up and haul off a Christian who kneeled in the middle of a street to pray?
I think there is a rage in the American public that we allowed someone with no credentials, no accomplishments, no love for our nation, and a phony birth certificate and Social Security number to assume the highest office in our land, and to stay there for eight years. It is, of course, the fault of the Republican Party. When they give us phony candidates like McCain and Romney, the conservatives in America stayed home on voting day. And, as bad as the last eight years have been, I think having someone like Barack Obama as President has served a purpose. By not voting, the conservatives have shown America what toying with socialism can do to a nation. And, of course, the normal progression of socialism is on to communism and eventually totalitarianism.
This next election is crucial. We will learn if America is through nibbling at socialism, or if our nation is doomed. Donald Trump is many things. The thing most Americans see in him is that he is not afraid to say the things that political correctness has stifled out of the mouths of the rest of us cowards. How refreshing!
