The thing is: The other Republican candidates can’t find any former business associates or employees to say bad things about Donald Trump. Isn’t that amazing? With the millions that Jeb has to spend on private investigators (and you know he has them digging into garbage cans) they can’t seem to find a scandal in Trump’s background. So they have to resort to personal attacks. They harp on his “bankruptcies.” He has never had a personal bankruptcy and the companies he has bought and restructured through bankruptcy, went through that process using just the tools the government provides for such practices. If you don’t like those, then Trump appears to be the kind of man who would be amenable to having congress change them. You can’t fault the man for following the rules. Speaking of change, he is also for term limits and that is never going to happen while congress has the power to keep its members perpetually in office. Some of them have been there since birth, and it is time for a clean sweep. DC tends to quickly make cronies and millionaires out of the nice guy you knew at home who was on the school board.
Carly Fiorino is a semi-attractive woman who talks like a politician. Lots of people would like to see our country run by a woman – but those folks have a vision of “Mom” and how mom would discipline the deadbeats and watch the budget. The fact is, Fiorino fired 20,000 employees when she was head of HP, and the HP board fired her for bad business decisions. We’ve had our fill of bad decisions for the last sixteen years. Critics jump on Trump for his comments about Fiorino. Trump is a blunt man. Fiorino had attacked Trump twice before he retaliated. And, she just did it again. One thing about the man, if you smite him, he will smite back. It is refreshing to have ANYONE who is not hamstrung by Political Correctness, which is killing this nation.
Ben Carson is an honest God-fearing man who came from nothing to become a world-renowned neurosurgeon. You don’t do that unless you have “fire in the belly” to make something out of yourself. He’s a soft spoken good man who, like Trump, is charitable. People who are truly charitable don’t talk about it. Hillary’s “foundation” trumpets how charitable they are. I have the greatest respect for Dr. Carson, but in my opinion, he is just too “nice” to fight the assholes who control DC and therefore, America.
And now Bobby Jendal, the Indian-American (or is it American-Indian? No, that can’t be right) joined in to trounce on Trump. He called the man everything except a serial killer and rapist, but even those that may have been inferred somewhere in his diatribe. And all that accomplished was to make Trump’s approval rating go up. Obviously, from the polls, the American public is sick of politicians who make speeches and do nothing, because the three non-politicians remain high in the polls. A Trump/Carson or Carson/Fiorino ticket would look very good to voters, compared to the rest of the sorry field.
