What would you say is the MOST important aspect of the job for an airport control tower operator, or those who work in America’s Air Traffic Control system? If you have ever listened to the radio transmissions of these government employees you know that it requires intense concentration of these hard workers. After all, they are responsible for keeping all those airliners and civilian aircraft separated and safely on the ground or in the air.
Well, the Obama administration has decided that the top priority for someone applying for one of those jobs is not a person who is highly proficient with superior cognitive skills and great reflexes. No, the MOST important thing in the airport control tower is – DIVERSITY! Yes! We must have more blacks, females, Mexicans, Orientals, Indians, Lesbians, trans-genders, cross-dressers, and anyone who has been deprived and downtrodden by the white slave masters in our country.
Of course, we have a whole load of ex-military (and already trained), control tower operators who could slip right into the job. Unfortunately, they have been moved to the back of the bus. Now the questionnaire is more designed for someone off the street who thinks it might be way cool to tell those big old airplanes up there scooting around where to go and what to do. Instead of questions about your education, the FAA is now required to ask, “Did you play basketball in high school?” “Were you bullied as a youngster?” “Has anyone ever called you a hurtful name?”
Now, I would be the first to say that, where someone is in control of the airplane I am in, these are extremely important questions. Even if the airliner I am in crashes on landing or collides with another aircraft, at least I will die happy knowing that there is DIVERSITY in the control tower.
Jesus, please take me now, I can’t stand anymore of this bullshit!
