I don’t know. I just feel magnanimous. Today I feel like giving away something. So let’s have a fun contest. Maybe it is because I am so happy that spring is just around the corner. So here are the rules (there’s only one). If you have read my novel “Tropical Knights,” I have a deal for you. I’ve been writing a long time and I don’t want to be “type cast” as just being able to write about two nutty misfits causing chaos in the Caribbean. So let’s have a little contest.
So….the first hundred (100) people who email me at john@johnbeckmanbooks.com with the name of Jack Steven’s sailboat in Tropical Knights will receive a FREE download of “Riley’s World Famous Flying Circus.” I loved writing this long-short story because I am fascinated by the adventures of the pioneers in aviation. Those barnstorming rogues flew their “aeroplanes” from town to town selling rides and finding romance wherever they went.”
I’d like for you to have a copy of this story for your Kindle or iPad. So send me the name of Jack’s boat (you don’t have to send a long email – just write the name of Jack’s boat, and make sure your email address is current in case you’re a winner) and if you are among the first 100 I will send you an email with info on how to download this $1.49 story for free.
The contest begins right now 3:00PM EDT Friday 14 February and runs until 3PM EDT on Sunday 16 March. Oh, I almost forgot—there will also be a consolation prize for the second 100 entries who don’t make it in the first 100. (Because, like Jack says, “I’m a good guy. you could ask anybody.”)
Good luck in the contest—this could be fun!
